The Save / Restore functionality allows you to save the current state of a financial report and restore it later as historical data.
It can be used, for example, to check and compare the progress of postings during a period closing process.
Saving a Report
To save the current state of a report, follow these steps:

Open the Data Courage CFO Assistant page.

Generate a new report.

On the menu bar, go to Save / Restore and choose the Save action.

After successful saving, the system will display a confirmation message.
Restoring a Report
To restore an already saved report, follow these steps:

On the menu bar, go to Save / Restore and choose the Restore action.

The system will open a list of saved reports, including:

Template ID
-
Mapping ID
-
Applied filters
-
Creation date and time
-

Choose the report you want to restore and click OK.

After restoring, the system will display the status information on the main page.
The restored data can be:

Used for historical data checks.

Exported to Excel for further analysis.
Important: Any new Generate Report action will replace restored data with the current dataset.
Note:

Drill Down action or clicking on any number will display the current state of data.

Totals of displayed entries may differ from the saved historical data.
-
AI Evaluation is not available for restored reports.
