QuickBridge Configuration

After installing the QuickBridge extension from AppSource, complete the following steps to activate the license and finish configuring the connector.


Verify Application Settings

  1. Open Extension Management.

  2. In the list of installed applications, locate QuickBridge and click extension name.

  3. Ensure that Allow HTTP Requests is set to True.

This option is critical for licensing – if disabled, the application cannot reach the license server, and all requests will fail.


Assign User Permissions

QuickBridge requires per-user permission assignment to function correctly.

  1. Open the Users page (via Search).

  2. Expand User Permission Sets, choose New, and add the QUICKBRIDGEDCG permission set by searching for “QuickBridge.”

  3. If added correctly, the permission set will appear in the highlighted section.


Configure Job Queue Schedulers

The QuickBridge connector uses a job queue to execute scheduled tasks.

  1. Open the Job Queue Entries page.

  2. Locate the QuickBridge job (ID: 71439500) and open it for editing.

  3. Change User ID from SYSTEM to the user with the QuickBridge permission set.

  4. Save the change.

  5. Set the job’s status back to Ready and verify that the checkbox under Scheduled column is selected.

Failing to complete the setup exactly as described will:

  • Prevent the connector from accessing its objects and data.

  • Cause the 30-day trial license to expire prematurely.
