Mapping Update

One of the typical reporting maintenance actions is adding newly created accounts in the Chart of Accounts to the report mapping.
Our tool offers functionality to automate this process.

Steps to Perform the Action

  1. Open the application
    Navigate to the Data Courage CFO Assistant page.

  2. Select a report template
    Go to Report Template Management, and open the report template where you want to update the mapping.
    Then proceed to Mapping Management – the system will open the Mapping Management page.

  3. Open a mapping version
    Select one of the already saved mapping versions.

    If a mapping version was already selected in the main window, the Mapping Management page will open with this version’s data.

  4. Update the mapping
    From the menu bar, choose the Update Mapping action.

  5. Review new accounts
    If new accounts are found in the Chart of Accounts, they will be added to the list with the appropriate setup.
    The account number will be marked in bold.

  6. Adjust mapping if needed
    You can change the mapping of the new accounts manually.

  7. Save the updated mapping
    After reviewing, save changes using Save or Save As.

  8. Generate the updated report
    Close the Mapping window. On the main page, generate a new report using the updated mapping and check the results.
